|This Weekend’s ZAPNation Virtual Challenge is about implementing a warm-up routine so that you feel better throughout your run this weekend. For your longer run this weekend we’re asking you to do 2 things:|
|1. Implement Coach Matt LoPiccolo‘s dynamic warm-up before you begin your run. He will be demonstrating that tonight in his Coach Chat at 7:30pm on Instagram and Facebook live, but you’ll also be able to find it archived here. The routine is 20 meters of each of the following: carioca, marching, skipping, straight leg shuffles, high knees, high knees into light strides.|
2. Make the first mile of your run at least 1 minute slower than the final mile of your run. Ease into your runs and you’ll feel much better throughout. After you finish up stop by the ZAPNation Facebook Group page and let us know how your long run went and if the warm-up routine made a difference in how you felt.
