Running Vacation at Blowing Rock Conference Center
July 11-16 and August 1-6
The Blowing Rock Conference Center sits atop Blowing Rock on 90 acres at 4,000 feet of elevation. The Conference Center is a 10 minute drive to downtown Blowing Rock and Moses Cone Park and offers some spectacular views of the mountains from the dining room and patio.
Our housing will be located together in the Corriher Lodge. The rooms in the lodge all have 2 double beds and a private bath. You will have the option to reserve a room to yourself for an additional fee, as has been the option in the past (see below).
The lodge is equipped with wifi and has a lobby with lounging sofas, chairs, and a gas fireplace. Corriher Lodge is connected to the dining facilities, serving 3 meals a day buffet style. There are a number of decks, patios, and pavilions located throughout the property, and ZAP will have a dedicated meeting room space for the duration of our stay.
The facility has it’s own pool, indoor gymnasium, hiking trail, ropes course, outdoor volleyball court, and more. Because of the moderate climate at 4000 ft. above sea level, the Blowing Rock Conference Center is not air-conditioned. Box fans are provided in each bedroom. The average high temperatures during July and August are 76-77 degrees with the average overnight low of 56-57 degrees.
Housing Options & Pricing (if booked before Feb 1)
