ZAP Fitness-Reebok is excited to welcome Sinead Haughey as a resident athlete for the 2015-16 year. Haughey is a native of Central, SC and a recent graduate of Furman University. During her time at Furman Haughey rewrote the Paladin record books and was a 2-time NCAA Championship qualifier in the 10,000m. As a senior Haughey made the NCAA Championship final after placing 7th in her preliminary round of the NCAA Championships. Haughey won multiple Southern Conference Championships and was named the Most Outstanding Performer at the Outdoor Championships as a junior after winning both the 5,000m and 10,000m runs. Haughey owns personal bests of 16:26 for 5,000m and 33:53 for 10,000m, both of which are Furman school records along with her indoor marks at 3,000m and 5,000m. Haughey will make her ZAP-Fitness Reebok debut this weekend at the historic Peachtree Road Race in Atlanta.
