On ZAP Endurance’s Joe Stilin kicked off the 2021 racing season with an indoor 5,000m race this past Sunday at the Magic City Elite Meet. It was Joe’s first indoor track race since 2019 and a good rust buster ahead of an outdoor track 10,000m at the end of February where he’ll be targeting an Olympic Trials Qualifying mark. Coming off a few weeks of very good, heavy training Joe ran 14:21 to take 4th place.
He will be racing again on February 26th at the Texas Qualifier, where the goal will be to improve upon his 28:21 personal best and post a mark to qualify for this summer’s Olympic Track and Field Trials.
The racing calendar is slowly filling up for the On ZAP Endurance team’s spring. And while there will certainly be events added to the schedule here is whats coming up as of today:

March 6th – Ashland City Half Marathon: Joanna Thompson, Pardon Ndhlovu
March 20th – Gate River Run 15k (USATF Championship): Tristin Van Ord, Matt McClintock
June 18th-27th – USA Olympic Track & Field Trials: TBA
June 19th – Grandma’s Marathon: Tristin Van Ord, Pardon Ndhlovu
